How it all started

C. Reinhardt’s story began nearly 100 years ago when Carl Reinhardt founded the company in 1926. The passion for vehicles is encoded in our DNA and is the driving force in everything we do. On this page you can read about our milestones from our journey so far.

The NORDEN family grows

The NORDEN family grows 2023

In 2023, the NORDEN family expanded with two new categories. The beautiful and colorful ELLINOR e-bikes and the stylish cargo e-bike STORM e2.

2022 SYM & MOTOCR BY YADEA IS INTRODUCED

In the spring of 2022, we introduced the addition of our two new brands in Denmark and Sweden: SYM premium motorcycles and scooters as well as YADEA electric scooters under the name MOTOCR by YADEA.

NEW ATV BRAND IS INTRODUCED

NEW ATV BRAND IS INTRODUCED 2020

C. Reinhardt is the exclusive importer of LINHAI in Sweden and introduced both ATVs and UTVs in 2020.

2019 THE LAUNCH OF MOTOCR

In 2019 we introduced MOTOCR in Denmark and Sweden. MOTOCR is C. Reinhardt’s own brand of scooters which are designed and manufactured to fulfill every driving need of the users.

THE INTRODUCTION OF FANTIC 2017

In 2017 we introduced Fantic motorcycles and scooters in both Denmark and Sweden.

2016 AWARD WINNING BIKES

In 2016 we launched NORDEN, which is our own brand of exclusive retro bikes. The very same year NORDEN won the prestigious international design award, Red Dot Award.

The following year, in 2017, the consumer council executed a large test of electric bikes. The electric bike E-Fly Deluxe placed in the front and won the title as Best in Test in Denmark.

PEUGEOT SCOOTERS IS INTRODUCED

PEUGEOT SCOOTERS IS INTRODUCED 2014

In the spring of 2014 C. Reinhardt became an importer of Peugeot scooters in Denmark. With more than 100 years of experience in the field of two-wheeled vehicles, Peugeot has the knowhow it takes to manufacture durable quality scooters.

2011 BICYCLE DIVISION EMERGES

In 2011 C. Reinhardts Bicycle Division sees the day of light with the introduction of three new bicycle brands, Cultima, RAAM and Living, as well as a selection of bicycle accessories and spare parts.

TGB ATV IS INTRODUCED

TGB ATV IS INTRODUCED 2011

In 2011 C. Reinhardt introduced the ATV and scooter brand TGB. Both the Danish and Swedish market was enriched with ATVs and scooters with a strong focus on design.

2010 C. REINHARDT EXPANS WITH FLEX LEASING

In 2010 the C. Reinhardt Corporation expanded with a leasing company called Plus Leasing. Plus Leasing works with flex leasing of high-end luxury cars to both private and business clients.

NEW HEADQUATERS

NEW HEADQUATERS 2010

In 2010 we moved into our brand-new headquarters. C. Reinhardt has been located on the same address in Ballerup since 1981, but premises were fully rebuilt in 2010. The building has been designed with focus on good storage capacity and a sensible indoor climate.

2008 E-FLY IS INTRODUCED

In 2008 C. Reinhardt expanded the two-wheeled range with the introduction of the popular electric bicycle E-Fly in Denmark. E-Fly is our own brand of electric bikes with Danish design and high quality.

NEW SCOOTER BRANDS 2002

The beginning of the 2000’s became the scene of big news in the company within a series of scooter brands.

2002
2002 was the year for the World/Denmark premiere of PGO TR3-50 3-wheeled petrol-driven scooter.

2003
The following year C. Reinhardt became importer and distributor of Vespa, Gilera and Piaggio in Denmark. The same year the company became distributer of EasyGo electrical mobility scooters in Denmark, Sweden & Norway.

2005
In 2005 the distribution of Vespa, Gilera and Piaggion was expanded to Sweden.

3RD GENERATION TAKES OVER

3RD GENERATION TAKES OVER 1987

I 1987 Jesper Reinhardt took over the company as the third generation, at the age of 24.

Jesper has worked at the family business since he was young. Here he is seen at 19 years old where he was responsible for the scooter sale in Danmark.

1971 SUZUKI MOTORCYCLE IMPORT

C. Reinhardt has since 1971 had the agency for Suzuki motorcycles and Suzuki ATV in Denmark.

IMPORT AND DISTRIBUTION

IMPORT AND DISTRIBUTION 1930

1930-1950
Import and distribution af Triumph, Victoria, DKW, TWN, Ardie, Dürkopf and Lambretta.

1958-1960
C. Reinhardt A/S focuses on cars and becomes the largest Fiat automobile dealer in Denmark.

1963
Import and distribution of MZ.

1967
Import and distribution of Triumph in Sweden.

The company C. Reinhardt was founded by Carl Reinhardt. In the pictures he is shown with his son, Buster.
